Vickie Baldwin
Program Coordinator, Young Writers Program
Vickie Baldwin coordinates and manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of YWP partnerships, projects, and events within the K-12 community, the university community, community-based organizations, and other institutions that serve youth. She interacts and maintains liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. Vickie is also responsible for developing and facilitating workshops, meetings and/or conferences, as well as coordinating all relevant communication with participating teachers, schools, community agencies, staff, and guest artists. Vickie oversees and manages the daily operations of the program, prepares reports, financial statements and records on YWP’s activities, the program’s progress, status or other reports for management or outside agencies.

Janet Grant
Program Coordinator, Options for Excellence/College Is For You
Janet Grant is a presenter for the College Is For You eighth-grade college outreach program, assists in office program development, is a program grant writer, and is instrumental in the development of the yearly Advancing Arizona Education Conference, held at the ASU Tempe campus. She brings more than thirty years of educational experience to the Office.

Salima Keegan
Editor Associate
Salima Keegan brings over thirty years of editorial experience to her position as editor associate where she manages publications for the Young Writers Program (YWP). YWP publications include 22 Across: A Review of Young Writers, an annual anthology of writing produced in YWP’s K-12 residencies; and residency chapbooks, small books of poetry and fiction featuring student work created in each residency. In addition, Salima produces marketing and resource materials for YWP/OYP and maintains the YWP website.
Marilyn LaCount
Executive Director, Office of Youth Preparation
Under the umbrella of the Office of the Vice President for Education Partnerships, Marilyn LaCount provides the overall administration for the Office of Youth Preparation. She oversees budgets, directs planning and operational activities, and supervises office and program staff in the provision of multiple educational program offerings and events.

Anna Rosa Lampis
Director, Math & Science Outreach
Anna Rosa Lampis directs and coordinates the development of the Office of Youth Preparation's Math and Science outreach activities directed towards teachers and students at the elementary, middle and high school level. She brings twenty years of experience in higher education management, teaching and program development to the Office.

Mary Frances Luna
Assistant Director, Office of Youth Preparation
Director, Programs for Talented Youth Mary Frances Luna is assistant director of the Office of Youth Preparation. She oversees the Programs for Talented Youth component which provides interdisciplinary classes for students in Grades 3 through 7 on the University campus. In addition, she administers the Astronomy Fair, and assists with the Kaleidoscope program.

Patricia Nash
Director, Options for Excellence/College Is For You
Patricia Nash has been very active in program development for the Office of Youth Preparation, creating the College is For You eighth grade outreach program, the Advanced Placement School Support Program, and the Advancing Arizona Education Conference, offering professional development for Arizona educators. She brings more than thirty years of educational experience to the Office.

Sean Nevin
Director, Young Writers Program
Sean Nevin is a poet and director of the Young Writers Program (YWP). He edits 22Across: A Review of Young Writers and teaches Creative Writing Pedagogy to ASU's MFA students and through the Socially Embedded Teaching Artist program (SETA), a partnership between YWP, the Creative Writing Program and The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing where he serves as assistant director.

Rhonda Rumble
Program Coordinator
Rhonda Rumble assists and supports the Office of Youth Preparation. Currently, she helps to coordinate Programs for Talented Youth and the Astronomy Fair. She also oversees Programs for Talented Youth's financial activities and the area of human resources.

Renee Simms
Teaching Artist, Young Writers Program
Renee Simms is a teaching artist for Arizona State University’s Young Writers Program where she teaches creative writing in the schools and is Associate Editor of 22 Across: A Review of Young Writers. She has taught creative writing at Metro Arts high school in Phoenix, as a teaching artist with PEN in the Classroom, and as a mentor with Write Girl in Los Angeles. As an MFA student she received a Socially- Embedded Teaching Assistantship to teach poetry in the schools. Her awards include a Cave Canem fellowship, a Voices of our Nations Arts fellowship, and a PEN Emerging Voices fellowship. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in anthologies and literary journals including North American Review, Inkwell, 42 Opus, and elsewhere.

Michael Zimmerman
Director, Junior Law/Court Works
Michael Zimmerman directs Junior Law, a collaboration with the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, and Court Works in the Office of Youth Preparation. The programs focus on U.S. Supreme Court decisions which are relevant to middle school students.
